New work in the latest issue of The FlyFish Journal. This is a piece that I’ve been super excited about as people who know me understand that a ton of what I love to photograph extends well beyond fly fishing. To see the entire piece check out the new / current issue.
The Drake
New work in The Drake. Tailing permit shot last May in Guanaja, Honduras. Location: Fly Fish Guanaja
San Antonio de Areco, Argentina
I just got back from a trip to San Antonio de Areco, Argentina. It was my first time there during their annual Tradición festival: an old gaucho festival and arguably the most important in Argentina. The images from this trip are for a personal photography project of mine on Areco and the people and traditions of.

Tailing Permit
Here’s a new shot from a recent trip to Puerto Rico. The number of tailing fish we saw was absurd yet they were, like most permit, still really challenging. Below is an image of a tailing permit I took on a stunning flat that’s about 2 miles long. I spent over 6 hours one day walking this flat with Pat Duke and I’d gladly put the day on repeat.
Thanks to No Name Lodge for making this trip happen.

Fly Fishing Puerto Rico
Just back from a great trip to No Name Lodge in Puerto Rico. This is an incredible permit and tarpon fishery that for whatever variety of reasons has yet to be tapped into as far as fly fishing goes…

Fly Fishing Silver Creek 2022
The 2022 season on Silver Creek kicks off in a little less than a week from now. Opening Day this year is Saturday May 28. Fortunately it has been super wet and cool and while we have not been pulled out of the drought, this recent weather has undoubtedly helped a ton. PMD’s and Baetis have been emerging daily. I’ll be down on Silver Creek most of this week photographing rising fish.
As of today, the current snow water equivalent in the Big Wood River basin (includes Silver Creek) is 142%.
Fly Fishing Silver Creek
Hard to believe we are within a month of the fly fishing opener on Silver Creek. As it is, the water is super low. We are on our second consecutive drought year and hopefully, fingers crossed, we have a cool and wet spring. This is what Silver Creek looks like now…
Fly Fishing Baja
Just returned from a trip down to Baja, Mexico. More to come on this one and it’ll be focused on Jef Feczko who is a guide in Baja and is the closest thing to a Roosterfish ninja as I’ve ever seen. Here’s Jef’s Instagram handle: @tothegills
The FlyFish Journal--Issue 13.3
New work in The FlyFish Journal issue 13.3 that just came out. Both images are from a trip to Magdalena Bay last December that was super high-octane-intensity and crazy fun. Pumped to be heading back (Los Locos Mag Bay) this December with Costa.
Fly Fishing Photography
New work for Orvis.
Argentine Landscape
Argentina. Early March, 2022. This shot was taken near the Collon Cura river on a day that had 80 km/h winds and a river that had turned to mud from a recent rainstorm.
Fly Fishing Chile
Just returned from a great trip to Patagonian BaseCamp in Chile. I’ll be hosting a few weeks here during the 2022/23 season. Anyone interested should reach out to me soon as BaseCamp books up fast.
Faraway Cayes and Fly Fish Guanaja Hosted Trips
I will be hosting two separate trips to Honduras this upcoming spring. The first is to Faraway Cay in the Mosquito Coast region of southern Honduras. This is an adventurous trip in a very remote part of the Caribbean. I am looking for up to 5 total people to join me. At least one slot has been taken. It’s an insane permit fishery with many many bonefish as well. This is a once and a lifetime type trip coupled with the fishery having not been fly fished for over two years.
Faraway Cay: April 29 — May 7, 2022
Faraway Details:
The second trip is to Fly Fish Guanaja. This will take place the week of May 14-21, 2022 This is a fantastic trip to one of Honduras’ 3 bay islands. Permit and bonefish are the staples w bonefish around in that double digit range.
$3,750 per angler with shared skiff and double occupancy for the week. 6 full days of fishing.
